James J. Hohman - Pilot Chemical Director

(Cincinnati, Ohio) January 12, 2015 - The Pilot Chemical Company’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of James J. Hohman as a Director of the Company.

Most recently Jim served as corporate Senior Vice President of OMNOVA Solutions Inc., and as President of OMNOVA’s Performance Chemicals business segment.      

Prior to joining OMNOVA parent company, GenCorp, as Director of Strategic Business Development for the Specialty Polymers business segment, he held numerous key general management, business and marketing management positions with BP Chemicals and B.F. Goodrich. 

Mr. Hohman earned his bachelor’s degree in Honors Chemistry from The Ohio State University and his MBA from the University of Louisville.   Most recently he was a member of the Corporate Visiting Committee of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and the Strategic Review Executive Taskforce of the American Chemistry Council, as well as a former member of the Advisory Board of The Ohio State University’s College of Math and Physical Sciences. From 2002 to 2010, he also served as a founding board member for RohmNova, a joint venture company owned jointly by OMNOVA Solutions and Rohm & Haas Corporation.
