MaShield™

MaShield™ products are accepted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a food contact substance (FCS) for use as an antimicrobial agent in food processing facilities. MaShield™ products are recognized by US Department of Agriculture Food Safety Inspection Service (FSIS) for on-line and off-line processing of poultry.

MaShield™ 15DS

Peracetic Acid

MaShield™ 15DS is an antimicrobial solution of 15% active peracetic acid (C2H4O3) in an aqueous equilibrium with 10% hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), and acetic acid (C2H4O2). MaShield™ 15DS can be directly applied to a variety of food types including fish, meats, poultry, seafood, ready to eat, marinades, fruits and vegetables. In addition, MaShield™ 15DS can be used for on-line and off-line reprocessing of poultry within USDA Food Safety and Inspection Directive 7120.1
