Pilot Chemical Company Offers Disinfectants for Emerging Viral Pathogens Like the Ebola Virus

On October 12, 2022, the EPA triggered its emerging viral pathogen (EVP) guidance in support of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) response to the Ebola virus cases in western Uganda. Pilot Chemical Corp.’s subsidiary Mason Chemical Company has a broad line of EPA-registered formulations included on List Q that include the necessary emerging viral pathogen language. Products on List Q can be used against the Ebola virus when they have the appropriate viral claim(s) and are used according to the label directions.
