OSSA Debuts New Building and Completes Facility Improvements

March 3, 2022

In alignment with Pilot Chemical Company’s strategy to invest in infrastructure, the team at Pilot Chemical subsidiary Organo Síntesis, S.A. de C.V. (OSSA) recently completed work on two renovation and expansion projects at its Toluca, Mexico, plant site. A third project is currently underway and due for completion soon.

In September 2021, the OSSA team completed work on a new building that houses offices for its maintenance and engineering, human resources, and payroll departments. The building boasts a training room that can accommodate up to 40 people, as well as three closed, controlled rooms to allow for appropriate storage of quality and development reagents.

OSSA employees celebrated the completion of the new building with a special outdoor dedication and ribbon cutting event in October 2021. Shortly afterward, renovation and expansion efforts began for a new dining room area for all plant team members to enjoy. The new dining room area was completed in December 2021.

Renovation and expansion work on the site’s restroom, dressing room and shower areas is currently underway and is expected to be completed next month. All three projects promise to improve the working conditions for the Toluca plant personnel, reinforcing Pilot Chemical Company’s message that its employees are at the center of everything the company does.
