The American Marketing Association Cincinnati (AMA Cincinnati) recently honored Pilot Chemical and Swivel with a 2020 AMA Pinnacle Award for Sales Enablement, the top category award, and finalist recognition for “Best Marketing Pivot”.
Understanding the need for a shift towards virtual customer engagement during the pandemic, Pilot Chemical focused its digital marketing efforts in 2020 by partnering with Swivel, a consulting firm that specializes in aligning sales, marketing and technology efforts for sales enablement.
Together they launched their first major campaign at the end of April, which focused on Pilot’s Calfax® DB-45 and Calfax® 16L-35 products, targeting paints, coatings, and adhesives manufacturers. The materials to support this campaign were developed by a cross-functional team and resulted in the development of new literature, including the “5 Watchouts Guide for your Emulsions” eBook, and a video series highlighting the Calfax® digital campaign.
According to Jeffrey Crume, Industrial Sales Manager for Pilot Chemical, the customer-focused initiative generated top quality leads and even helped uncover new ways to use our existing chemistries.
