Pilot Sets Up Hurricane Harvey Donation Website and Employee Relief Program

Published September 18, 2017

As part of our commitment to Responsible Care®, we look for ways to engage with our neighbors and provide community service.  With this in mind Pilot Chemical, with the assistance of the Salvation Army, has set up a donation site to help cleanup efforts for the areas affected by Hurricane Harvey.  Pilot Chemical will match employee donations dollar for dollar up to $500 per employee to a total of $25,000.  We hope to achieve our goal of $50,000 in total donations.

As Houston and southeast Texas recover from the catastrophic and historic flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey, Pilot Chemical also stands ready to assist our Houston-area employees. Pilot has established a Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief Program to provide funds to help our affected employees recover and rebuild.

Pilot Chemical is proud to be able to put these programs in place, and we hope our contributions help those in Houston to get back on their feet.
