David Waizmann Named Chief Financial Officer

(Cincinnati, Ohio) June 17, 2014 – Pilot Chemical Company announced today that David Waizmann has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer, a new position within the company. Waizmann was previously Director of Finance and Accounting.

 

“David provided significant leadership as Pilot Chemical created and executed a strategic vision,” said Pam Butcher, President and Chief Operating Officer of Pilot Chemical Company. “David’s financial expertise helped facilitate the acquisition of Mason Chemical in 2012 and his contributions have been integral to the company’s success.”

 

Waizmann will continue to report to Butcher and serve as a member of the company’s executive leadership team. Finance, accounting and legal departments will report to Waizmann.

 

Waizmann joined Pilot in December 2005 as Controller. Prior to joining Pilot, he worked for Reynolds & Reynolds/Relizon/Workflow One for over eight years with a broad range of cost accounting, financial analysis, planning and reporting responsibilities. Waizmann received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Business Administration from the University of Dayton. He also is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Ohio and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

 

Waizmann is an active volunteer in the greater Cincinnati and Dayton region as a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish Finance Committee and a participant in the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program.
